Rypos Adds William Gajda as Director of Engineering
Franklin, MA – June 17, 2026 – Rypos Inc., an industry leader in the design and manufacture of active diesel particulate filters (DPFs), has hired William “Bill” Gajda as director of engineering. 
Gajda brings more than 20 years of technical leadership and productization experience to Rypos. He specializes in mechanical systems, design for manufacturability and new product introduction. His background spans the integration of IoT systems into physical hardware and the scaling of technical operations from concept to mass production.
Earlier in his career, Gajda led engineering teams that scaled complex hardware products from concept to high-volume manufacturing across the consumer products and industrial sectors. He has managed productization pipelines, multidisciplinary engineering teams and development budgets on programs ranging from six months to three years.
“Bill brings deep experience in building products and leading engineering teams from concept to production,” said Paul Anderson, Rypos CEO. “His leadership will strengthen our engineering organization as we continue to advance our emissions-control solutions.”
Gajda’s hire is part of a planned leadership transition for Gerry Maynard, who will shift his focus toward technical work and reduce his administrative responsibilities. Maynard joined Rypos in 2013 and has led the engineering team since 2019. In his new role, he will concentrate on design and technical challenges.
