This significant achievement demonstrates Rypos’ commitment to environmental responsibility and adherence to the highest regulatory standards. The in-use compliance test is performed on a sample of fielded units selected by CARB to ensure that the filters continue to contribute to reducing harmful emissions, promoting cleaner air, and aligning with CARB’s diesel emission control strategy.
The CARB staff, after a thorough review of Rypos in-use emissions testing compliance report, has determined the RYPOS HDPF/C, designated under family name CA/RYP/2007/PM3+/N00/ST/DPF01 with CARB Executive Order DE-07-001-08, meets the stringent standards outlined in Title 13 California Code of Regulations, section 2709.
Ajay Mangat, chief of the freight technology advancement branch at CARB’s Transportation and Toxics Division, expressed appreciation for the company’s participation in CARB’s diesel emission control strategy verification program.
